Extended-Temperature Digital Output Slice
The Siemens 6AG1132-4BD02-7AA0 is a SIPLUS variant of the S7-1200 digital output module, built to operate from -25 °C to 70 °C. That temperature span is the headline reason to reach for this order code instead of the standard 0-to-60 °C version — it keeps the line running in non-conditioned cabinets, roof-top enclosures, or cold-chain warehouse floors. The module holds 4 transistor outputs, each rated at 0.5 A at 24 V DC sourced from the backplane bus. One byte of address space (4 bits used) maps into the process image.
Output Switching and Load Limits
Each output switches resistive loads up to 800 Hz and inductive loads up to 2 Hz. The per-channel rated current is 0.5 A, with a permissible max of 600 mA for signal "1"; residual leakage at signal "0" stays under 0.3 mA. Total module current is capped at 2 A, so you cannot drive all four channels at the 600 mA limit simultaneously — stay within the per-module budget. Short-circuit protection is integrated, and reverse polarity protection is present when the load voltage matches the power module supply, but note that polarity reversal can cause the outputs to conduct. No per-channel diagnostics.
