Relay output module for tight DIN-rail slots
The Siemens 6AG1132-6HD00-7BB0 is a 4-relay output module that fits a 20 mm wide DIN-rail slot — one of the narrowest footprints for a quad relay bank in the S7-1200 ecosystem. It carries a total module current of 20 A, with per-channel limits that derate with ambient temperature: 20 A up to 40 °C, 16 A at 50 °C, and 16 A at 60 °C. Above 60 °C horizontal, each relay is capped at 3 A continuous and the module total drops to 12 A.
What the ratings mean for your panel
The 20 A total module current is the sum of all relay outputs — if you run all four at 5 A each, you're at the limit. The derating above 60 °C is a hard constraint: at 65 °C horizontal, you can only pull 3 A per relay and 12 A total, so plan your load distribution accordingly. The module requires a BU type B0 base unit (sold separately) and draws 100 mA max from the 24 V DC supply without load. Reverse polarity protection is built in, and the supply voltage is monitored via a green PWR LED. I&M data 0 through 3 is supported, meaning the module reports its identity and maintenance history to the controller — useful for asset tracking in larger lines.
