The 6AG1134-4LB02-2AB0: Two-channel analog voltage input for S7-1200 systems. Covers ±10 V, ±5 V, and 1 to 5 V ranges with 800 kΩ input resistance per channel. Conversion time runs 0.04 ms per channel without noise suppression; enable noise suppression and it stretches to 17/20 ms per channel. Isochronous mode is available for deterministic cyclic I/O. Module draws 0.85 W typical, 10 mA from the backplane.
What the ratings mean for fit
The 800 kΩ input resistance across all voltage ranges means minimal loading on the signal source – a thermocouple signal conditioner or 0-10 V transducer won't see a droop. Conversion time of 0.04 ms per channel (without noise suppression) is fast enough for most motion-control loops; if you need noise rejection on a long signal run, the per-channel 17/20 ms setting filters line-frequency ripple. Group diagnostics can be disabled to suppress nuisance alarms on unused channels. Reverse polarity protection on the 24 V DC supply prevents smoke when wiring up a new panel. No channel-to-channel isolation, but the design allows increased permissible potential difference between inputs – handy when one sensor floats higher than the rest. Parameterizable cycle time stages (1x, 4x, 16x, 32x) let you trade speed for filtering without a firmware change.
