It measures temperature across ten thermocouple types (B, C, E, J, K, L, N, R, S, T) and integrates the signal with a selectable digital filter — four stages from no filtering (1× cycle time) up to heavy averaging (64× cycle time). The 15 mm wide module fits a tight DIN-rail row and draws only 0.6 W typical from the backplane bus.

The four-stage digital filter (none, low, medium, high) adjusts update speed by multiples of the integration time. At the highest setting (64× cycle time) readings stabilize in noisy environments. The measurement principle is integrating, rejecting line noise when the integration time matches the mains period (20 ms). For thermocouples, wire-break detection is parameterizable per channel.
