8 single-ended analog inputs, ±10 V or 0–10 V, 15/16 bit
The Siemens 6AG1134-6FF00-2AA1 is an 8-channel analog input module for the ET 200SP system, accepting 0 to +10 V with 15-bit resolution or –10 to +10 V with 16-bit including sign. Each channel is single-ended, one AI per three terminals, so watch your common reference. Input resistance sits at 100 kΩ for the 0–10 V range. Conversion time per channel is configurable: 180 ms with smoothing, down to a fast 0.625 ms (67.5 ms for the full set at 180 ms setting). Four smoothing levels (none, 4/8/16 times) are parameterizable. For applications needing noise rejection over speed, the slower settings clean up the signal. Diagnostics are built in: a group error signal, diagnostic alarm, and monitoring of the 24 V DC supply with reverse polarity protection. Each channel's status shows via a green LED; a separate green/red DIAG LED covers module health.
Panel integration – BaseUnit, space, and wiring
Width is 15 mm, depth 58 mm, height 73 mm. Mounts onto a usable BaseUnit of type A0 or A1 (sold separately). When calculating ET 200SP station fill, budget 15 mm per analog module plus the BaseUnit width. Power draw: 25 mA max current consumption from the backplane, typical power loss 0.7 W. Maximum shielded cable length is 200 m – fine for most in-cabinet or local field wiring. The module supports I&M data (I&M0 to I&M3), firmware update capability, and is parameterizable. Operating temperature range: –40 °C to +60 °C horizontally installed; can stretch to +70 °C if empty slots are configured on either side. Derating applies beyond 60 °C, but the extra thermal margin helps in crowded cabinets.
