What this module is, and what it needs
The 6AG1134-6GF00-7AA1: SIPLUS variant of the standard S7-1500 AI module — 8 single-ended analog inputs, 24 V DC supply, 15 mm wide. It sits on a BU type A0 or A1 BaseUnit. Covers 4-20 mA and 0-20 mA ranges, with wire-break detection enabled on the 4-20 mA setting. No oversampling or isochronous mode — this is a standard-resolution scan module. Diagnostics include group error, diagnostic alarm, and overflow/underflow indication. Channel status shown per-channel green LED; module diagnostics via a DIAG LED. Power draw is 0.7 W typical without encoder supply, and the max total output current for all channels is 0.7 A. The module can supply sensors up to that limit.
Field integration notes
Fits alongside other S7-1500 slices on a DIN rail. The 15 mm width saves panel space — a full 8-channel analog block in a slim package. Shielded cable length max 200 m per channel. Termination is through the BaseUnit (BU type A0 or A1); wiring is plug-in, no screw terminals on the module itself. I&M data (I&M0 to I&M3) is supported for asset tracking and maintenance documentation. Firmware update possible via the engineering station. No calibration in RUN — it's a fixed-range module with 4 levels of smoothing (none, 4, 8, 16 times).
