Four differential channels, clean signal path
The 6AG1134-6HD01-2BA1 is a 4-channel differential analog input module for the S7-1200 system, designed for industrial signal acquisition where noise rejection is a priority. Each channel can be configured for voltage ranges (0 to +10 V, 1 V to 5 V, -5 V to +5 V, -10 V to +10 V) or current ranges (0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA), with 15-bit resolution for unipolar and 16-bit including sign for bipolar ranges. Differential inputs inherently reject common-mode noise from long cable runs, and the integrating Sigma-Delta measurement principle naturally filters line-frequency interference. Diagnostic alarms for wire-break (active on 4–20 mA) and short-circuit protection (for 1–5 V or 2-wire mode) are built in, and a group error LED provides quick visual status. I&M data (I&M0 through I&M3) is supported for device identification in the engineering tool.
Signal integrity and cabling
Isolation between channels and ground is type-tested at 707 V DC, which helps prevent ground loops in mixed-power panels. Maximum shielded cable length is 1 000 m for current signals and 200 m for voltage signals. The module mounts on BU type A0 or A1 base units, occupying a 15 mm slot in the rack.
Sourcing reality
Expect a commissioning note: power draw is 0.85 W typical without encoder supply, and the rated supply is 24 V DC.
