The 6AG1135-4FB01-2AB0 is a 2-channel analog output module for the S7-1200 system, delivering voltage outputs across three spans: 0–10 V, ±10 V, and 1–5 V. It runs on the backplane bus at 24 V DC drawn from the power module, with a separate load voltage L+ supply for the output drivers.
What the ratings mean for fit
Two-channel voltage output only — no 4–20 mA on this module. If your analog input expects a current loop, you need a different slice. The voltage outputs are available in two-wire (no line compensation) and four-wire connection, so the wiring topology is flexible but the signal type is fixed. Temperature range spans –25 °C to 60 °C ambient, which covers most indoor plant floors and non-condensing environments. The max altitude is 5 000 m above sea level, so high-altitude installations are fine without derating. Physical footprint: 15 mm wide, 81 mm tall, 52 mm deep.
Commissioning notes
Configure output behavior on CPU STOP via the module parameter set: choose between de-energized (outputs go to 0 V), substitute a fixed value, or keep the last value. For safety-critical loops, de-energized is the default. Short-circuit protection is built into the voltage outputs — the max short-circuit current is 25 mA. Diagnostics for short-circuit and group error can be enabled or disabled per channel. Cycle time over all channels peaks at 1.5 ms. The address space allocates 4 bytes per module; if you need more than 2 analog outputs, add another module.
