Module at a Glance
The Siemens 6AG1135-6HD00-7BA1 is a 4-channel analog output module delivering voltage and current signals with resolution up to 16 bit including sign for ±10 V ranges, 15 bit for 0–10 V and 0–20 mA, and 14 bit for 4–20 mA. Above +60 °C the module derates to a maximum of 2 outputs for ±10 V. Each channel can be configured independently for voltage (0–10 V, ±10 V, 1–5 V, ±5 V) or current (0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, ±20 mA). The output circuits are isolated between channels and from the backplane bus at 75 V DC / 60 V AC, with a type test of 707 V DC. Diagnostics include wire-break and short-circuit detection, a group error LED, and a green/red DIAG LED for module status. Channel status is indicated per output by a green LED.
Physical Integration and Wiring
Voltage outputs require a minimum load of 2 kΩ; current outputs drive up to 500 Ω. Shielded cable recommended, up to 1 000 m for current signals and 200 m for voltage outputs. Isolation tested at 707 V DC between circuits. The module draws a maximum of 150 mA from the backplane, typical power loss 1.5 W. That's modest for a 4-channel analog output — leaves headroom in your 24 V DC supply budget.
