What it is & what it does
The Siemens 6AG1135-6TD00-2CA1 is an analog output module for the SIPLUS S7-1200 system, designed for extended temperature range applications. It provides four analog outputs, each configurable for 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA with 16-bit signed resolution. HART protocol is supported per channel, allowing simultaneous analog control and HART communication on the same loop. Each output channel includes wire-break and short-circuit detection, diagnostic alarms, and green/red LED indication. The module reports diagnostic data via I&M data (I&M0 to I&M3) and supports firmware updates. Power draw is 1.7 W typical at 24 V DC, with a maximum current consumption of 125 mA. Module-wide supply voltage monitoring is included.
Integration & mounting
The module mounts on a DIN rail using Siemens BaseUnits type A0 or A1, occupying a single 15 mm wide slot. Depth is 58 mm, height 73 mm. Isolation tested at 707 V DC between circuits. Galvanic isolation between the module and backplane: 60 V DC / 30 V AC between different circuits. Operating temperature: horizontal installation allows 0 to 60 °C (up to 70 °C with configured empty slots left and right), vertical installation 0 to 50 °C. Minimum -40 °C including condensation and frost.
