What the ratings mean for a wet-well installation

For a wastewater environment, the module itself doesn't need direct exposure – mount it in a proper panel away from H2S, and the diagnostics will keep you ahead of corrosion-related faults.
Panel fit and wiring notes
Width is 15 mm – it's a narrow slice, so it won't eat up DIN rail space. Uses BaseUnit type A0, which means it plugs into the standard ET 200SP bus adapter. Inputs are P-reading (source/sink configurable), outputs are sourcing. The module automatically encodes its data – no parameterization needed. FW updates are possible through the backplane. Plan for 58 mm depth behind the panel door. Cable lengths: shielded up to 1 000 m, unshielded up to 500 m. That covers most plant layouts without a repeater. Input filter times are parameterizable in the range 0.4 ms to 20 ms – set them to 3 ms for standard sensors to debounce without slowing the cycle.
