What it is and why it matters
The Siemens 6AG1138-4CA01-2AA0 is a SIPLUS ET 200S PM-E power supply module rated for 24 V DC, with conformal coating and diagnostics. Based on the standard 6ES7138-4CA01-0AA0, this version extends the temperature range from -40 °C to 70 °C.
Integration notes
Module occupies 15 mm of ET 200S rail width, 81 mm tall, 52 mm deep. Typical power loss is 0.1 W. Galvanic isolation is provided between the 24 V load voltage and the backplane bus. The input is reverse-polarity protected; short-circuit protection must be external with a tripping characteristic C breaker per. Diagnostic LEDs: group error SF (red) and power present PWR (green), plus missing load voltage monitoring configurable as disable/enable.
