Input performance and fast capture
Input signals are parameterizable as source/sink. In Fast mode, four input bytes are available for pulse encoders or counters with a 50 µs transition time. The software gate allows start/stop control without rewiring. For distributed applications, the module supports isochronous mode and synchronization.
Output and motion control
The single output carries 12 bytes of output data in standard mode. When motion control is used, 4 bytes of the output area are reserved for that function. Fast mode reduces the output data to 0 bytes, confirming that the module prioritizes input capture speed. Probe and capture functions further support position measurement.
