The Siemens 6AG1138-6DB00-2BB1 is a 24 V DC digital output module for the ET 200SP system. It gives you two parameterizable outputs in 20 mm of DIN-rail width — that's a single BU type B1 slot, right where you need it for high-density layouts. Rated supply is 24 V with L+ tolerance to 23.2 V, so check your rail before you commit the line.
Output capabilities
Each channel delivers 24 bytes of process data and can be configured for PWM, pulse train, or frequency output — the ON-delay, OFF-delay, and dithering are all parameterizable. Switching times hit 0.8 µs in high-speed mode (standard mode 9 µs), and jitter stays within ±1 µs, which matters if you're running isochronous mode on PROFINET. You can also enable diagnostic alarms; that's one less trip out to the panel when a channel faults.
Runs on 24 V DC sink/source, draws about 1.7 W typical. The firmware is at V1.0; you can update it through the TIA Portal. Stores I&M 0 data for identification and maintenance. Out here in the grease, that 20 mm width on the backplane saves space and keeps the wireway clean.
