The Siemens 6AG1153-2BA10-7XB0 is a PROFIBUS DP interface module for the ET 200M distributed I/O system, built to the SIPLUS extreme spec with a -40 to 70 °C operating range. It communicates at up to 12 Mbit/s over RS-485, handles 244 bytes each of inputs and outputs, and draws a maximum 650 mA from a 24 VDC supply. The firmware ships at V6.0.0, and it supports STEP 7 configuration as well as third-party DP masters importing the GSD file SI05801E.GSG.
What the ratings mean for a retrofit
If you're dropping this into an existing ET 200M station, the 40 mm width and the standard mounting scheme mean it fits the same backplane slot — no panel rework. The I²t value of 0.1 A²·s is what you'd pass to the panel builder for backplane fuse coordination; the inrush current typ 3 A helps size the 24 V supply branch. The temperature range covers non-conditioned cabinets, so no heater is needed for cold starts down to -25 °C (cold restart minimum).
