The Siemens 6AG1193-4CD30-2AA0 is a SIPLUS ET 200S terminal module for power distribution within a distributed I/O station. It is the conformal-coated version of the standard 6ES7193-4CD30-0AA0, rated for -40 to +70°C ambient temperature. The module provides 2x3 spring-loaded (cage clamp) terminal connections with access to AUX1; the AUX1 circuit is interrupted, which is typical for power feed modules that separate the auxiliary bus. It occupies one 15 mm slice on the ET 200S mounting rail and is CE marked per the specification.
Environmental headroom and altitude derating
The module is certified for operation from -40 to +70 °C, but the allowable upper limit decreases with altitude. Per the datasheet, at barometric pressures between 795 hPa and 658 hPa (approximately +2 000 m to +3 500 m), the maximum ambient temperature drops by 10 K. Above 3 500 m up to 5 000 m, the derating increases to -20 K. The lower temperature limit remains unchanged throughout. This table is essential for any procurement that must guarantee operation at elevated sites or in cold storage environments. The assembly meets environmental ratings for corrosive gases (Level GX group A/B excluding trichlorethylene), salt spray (Level LC3), and oil (Level LB3). The conformal coating, Class A, enables these ratings.
