The 6AG1193-6AM00-7AA0 is a SIPLUS ET 200SP BusAdapter BA 2xM12, the ruggedized sibling of the standard 6ES7193-6AM00-0AA0. This BusAdapter provides two M12 push-pull sockets with D-coding for PROFINET connectivity, fitting into the ET 200SP distributed I/O system. It is also compatible with standard M12 connectors, giving field wiring flexibility.

Environmental resilience and coating

The conformal coating per IPC-CC-830A Class A protects the PCB assembly against moisture, dust, and chemical attack. The unit is resistant to commercially available coolants and lubricants, including diesel and oil droplets in the air, and meets ANSI/ISA-71.04 level GX group A/B for corrosive gas environments. Protection against fouling per EN 60664-3 Type 1 is included. The temperature range depends on mounting orientation: vertical installation is limited to 50 °C max, while horizontal installation allows up to 70 °C. At altitudes above 2,000 m, the maximum ambient temperature must be derated by 10 K per 1,500 m increment up to 5,000 m.
