What makes this base unit different from the standard 6ES7193-6BP00-0BD0
The 6AG1193-6BP00-7BD0: This is the SIPLUS version of the standard ET 200SP base unit 6ES7193-6BP00-0BD0, with conformal coating and a widened temperature range. The conformal coating protects the PCB assembly against condensation, frost, coolant mist, and aggressive gases — qualified per Class A and Type 1 protection. It also meets Level GX Group A/B for corrosive gas resistance, Level LC3 for salt spray, and Level LB3 for oil exposure — the standard unit carries none of these ratings.
Temperature range and mounting orientation
Vertical installation derates the max to +50 °C; the min stays at -40 °C. At altitudes above 2000 m up to 3000 m, derate the ambient by 5 K per the barometric pressure table.
Electrical ratings and slot assignment
Rated supply voltage is 400 V AC or 230 V AC on /N, with isolation tested at 3250 V DC between backplane bus and supply. Continuous current rating is 5 A at up to 60 °C ambient, covering the bus power feed for the I/O modules in the segment. The single-slot BU type D0 accepts one ET 200SP I/O module; push-in terminals without auxiliary terminals, bridged to the left.
