What the extended temperature range means for the nacelle
The 6AG1193-6BP00-7BU0 is a SIPLUS ET 200SP base unit (BU type U0) that starts at -40 °C and runs to +70 °C horizontal — that covers cold-soaked winter starts and summer heat soak inside a closed cabinet up-tower. It carries conformal coating (IPC-CC-830A Class A), resists diesel and oil droplets, and meets ANSI/ISA-71.04 GX group A/B for corrosive gas — so it survives the nacelle without conformal-coat rework on site.
Termination and bus capacity
The AUX bus, / bus, and process terminals each carry 10 A max at up to 240 V AC or 120 V DC, with the backplane-to-supply isolation tested at 2 545 V DC for 2 s. It provides 16 process terminals to the I/O module and 2 terminals for the / bus, with automatic encoding on the backplane connector — no DIP-switch slot mapping to get wrong.
It is the conformal-coated variant of the standard 6ES7193-6BP00-0BU0, with the same 20 mm width and push-in terminal layout. For a standard-environment build the 6ES7 variant fits; for the nacelle or washdown zone this SIPLUS version is the one to spec.
