The 6AG1193-6BP40-7DA1 is a SIPLUS ET 200SP bus module (BU type A1) based on the standard 6ES7193-6BP40-0DA1, but with a conformal coating and extended temperature range of -40 °C to +70 °C. It provides one slot for an I/O module, includes 2x5 add-on terminals, and creates a new load group on the backplane bus.

Ambient temperature range horizontal installation: -40 °C to +70 °C. At altitudes above 2 000 m, derate Tmax by 10 K per 1 000 m up to 5 000 m. Conformal coating and resistance to coolants, lubricants, diesel, and oil droplets make this module suitable for machining centres and engine test cells.
