Two SFP slots, three-speed copper
The Siemens 6AG1206-2BS00-7AC2 is a managed industrial Ethernet switch carrying two SFP slots that accept either 100 Mbit/s or 1000 Mbit/s SFP plug-in transceivers. The copper ports handle 10 Mbit/s, 100 Mbit/s, and 1000 Mbit/s, so the switch integrates into mixed-speed segments without autonegotiation issues.
Mounting and footprint
The compact design (60 mm width, 147 mm height, 125 mm depth) fits tight panel spaces, and the wall-mounting option lets you place it directly on a machine frame or inside a small enclosure. The C-PLUG configuration memory means you can swap a failed unit without re-downloading the parameter set — pull the plug, insert it into the replacement, and the port settings, VLANs, and security profiles come back.
Management stack for a mill floor
Full CLI, SSH, SSL/HTTPS, SNMP v1/v2/v3, and SysLog give the controls engineer the same toolset as a data-center switch, but hardened for 47 a MTBF in industrial ambient. Protocol support includes DCP, NTP, SNTP, DHCP client/server, LLDP, LACP, RMON, port mirroring, and EtherNet/IP.
