SIPLUS S7-1200 CPU 6AG1211-1AE31-2XB0 is the extended-temperature variant of the Siemens S7-1200 line, rated for -40 °C to 70 °C ambient operation. It carries cULus, FM, and CE approvals, making it a fit for machinery shipped to North America or the EU. Power supply tolerance is 20.4 to 28.8 V DC; stay within that window to avoid dropout.
Communications and I/O
Onboard fieldbus includes PROFIBUS DP, Modbus TCP, UDP, and AS-Interface. It can act as both Modbus client and server, with TCP/IP and autocrossing enabled by default. Input and output process-image sizes are 1 024 byte each.
Programming and memory
Programmed in LAD, FBD, or SCL. Integrated memory is 1 Mbyte; program size is limited only by available RAM for code (no expansion slot). Backup time is 480 hours typical, enough to retain user program and data over a long weekend power loss. The CPU is not expandable via memory cards, but the fixed capacity covers mid-size projects.
