CPU for extended environments
The Siemens 6AG1212-1BD30-5XB0 is an S7-1200 PLC CPU designed for extended ambient conditions: permissible supply range 20.4 V to 28.8 V and operating temperature from -40 °C to 70 °C. It integrates 1 Mbyte of work memory for program and data, with a typical backup time of 240 h to retain the project on the integral EEPROM.
Programming and connectivity
The CPU supports FBD, LAD, and SCL programming languages. The PROFINET interface includes autocrossing and TCP/IP support; the port does not natively implement MODBUS or PROFIBUS.

The unit carries cULus, CE, and UL approvals. The 240 h backup covers variables: inputs/outputs, memory bits, DBs, distributed I/Os, timers, counters.
