Rated -40 to 70 °C and 20.4-28.8 V DC, it runs in environments where a standard CPU can't: unheated cabinets, outdoor enclosures, dairy lines, refrigerated warehouses. Programming in FBD, LAD, and SCL, with an integrated 1 Mbyte code memory. PID controller, web server, and forcing are built in.

Same 100×90×75 mm footprint, same PROFINET interface (with shared device support). The SIPLUS adds the extended temperature range and the wider supply tolerance – otherwise pinout and function are identical.

Integration notes

PROFINET on the built-in port – no module needed. For PROFIBUS or AS-Interface, add the CM 1243-5 or respective master module. MODBUS TCP and UDP are software-selectable on the same port. Supply range 20.4-28.8 V DC; typical backup time is 480 h for the real-time clock. Watch the current draw on the backplane if populating all signal boards.
