Siemens 6AG1214-1AG31-2XB0 is the SIPLUS extreme variant of the S7-1200 1214C, rated for ambient operation from -40°C up to 70°C with 24 VDC supply (20.4 to 28.8 V permissible range). It carries 4 MB integrated work memory and supports LAD, FBD, and SCL programming languages.
PROFINET interface with autocrossing and autonegotiation handles the line connection; Modbus TCP server and client roles are built in, eliminating the need for an external gateway on simple fieldbus integrations. The CPU also speaks PROFIBUS, AS-Interface, and UDP—enough protocol breadth for multi-vendor line segments.
