Field-ready PLC for extreme conditions
This 6AG1215-1HG31-2XB0 is a SIPLUS S7-1200 CPU designed to live where a standard S7-1200 won't — rated for -40 to 70 °C ambient, so it can ride a chiller roof or a desert solar tracker without derating. Runs on 24 V DC, offers PROFINET and PROFIBUS onboard, and supports LAD, FBD, and SCL out of the box. That means you can program it in whatever dialect your line uses, no translation needed.
Clutch specs for a line-down swap
Backup time 480 h typical holds program through swap. Forcing, MODBUS TCP, UDP, AS-Interface, and 1 024 byte I/O image are onboard.
Mounting and wiring notes
Measures 130 x 100 x 75 mm — standard S7-1200 footprint, so it bolts into existing DIN rail assemblies without drilling. The 24 V DC supply is isolated, and it handles 2-wire sensors on the inputs with a signal threshold of 15 V DC at 2.5 mA for a "1" and 5 V DC at 1 mA for a "0". Autocrossing and autonegotiation are baked into the PROFINET port, so no manual IP trickery on a swap. Just wire the 24 V, connect the network, and let it link up.
