The 6AG1221-1BH32-4XB0: 16 digital inputs at 24 V DC on a SIPLUS S7-1200 form factor. Rated for -40°C to 70°C ambient — that's the headline spec for cold-chain or desert installations. Diagnostics alarm and supply voltage monitoring come on board. Requires a front connector; order separately. Backplane bus draws 130 mA max at 5 V DC; typical power loss is 2.5 W. Supply voltage range is 20.4–28.8 V DC. Cable lengths: 300 m unshielded, 500 m shielded.
Environmental ratings
IP20 protection. Altitude derating: full temperature range up to 2 000 m; derate 10 K up to 3 500 m and 20 K up to 5 000 m. Fall height tested at 0.3 m five times in package.
