The 6AG1221-3BD30-5XB0: Input signal thresholds are defined by voltage levels relative to L+. Signal '0' is L+ minus 5 V down to L+, with a quiescent current of 1.4 mA maximum. Signal '1' is 0 V up to L+ minus 10 V, with a typical input current of 7 mA (minimum 2.9 mA). Shielded twisted-pair cable is specified up to 50 m. Parameters assignable via TIA Portal. The module reports input status back to the CPU.
The module operates from -40 to 70 °C, with a startup derating below -25 °C.
It has conformal coating per IPC-CC-830A Class A, resistance to coolants and lubricants (including diesel and oil droplets), and meets ANSI/ISA-71.04 level GX for corrosive gases and level LC3/LB3 for salt spray and oil.
