Installation and protection notes
Mounts on a standard S7-1200 rail, 45 mm wide, 100 mm high, 75 mm deep. IP20 rated, so it belongs in a cabinet. A front connector is required and sold separately. One critical note: there is no internal short-circuit protection — it must be provided externally. Each output channel is rated 0.5 A for both resistive and inductive loads. The module draws 140 mA from the 5 V backplane bus; power loss is typ. 2.5 W. Diagnostic alarm and status readback are available, which helps during commissioning and fault isolation — a common return cause we see is a downstream overload taking out a channel, so verify the load circuit protection before powering up.
