What it is and what it carries
The 6AG1223-1QH32-4XB0: Operating envelope is –40 °C to 70 °C — the SIPLUS spread. Power loss is 7.5 W typical. A front connector is required and ordered separately.
Group current is the real ceiling
Lamp load is the other ceiling to watch — 30 W on DC, 200 W on AC per point. That is the inrush-bound figure, not the steady-state contact rating, so it is what governs when a tower light or indicator bank is on the load list. Short-circuit protection is not on-board; external fusing has to be sized per the load.
Diagnostics, status and field wiring
Diagnostic alarm, status of inputs and status of outputs are all reported back over the backplane, so a faulted point lights up on the HMI without an extra module. Input and output filters are parameterizable, and maintenance override is supported, which is the switch the panel builder needs when commissioning dry. Channel-to-channel isolation is by relay, so two outputs on the same module can sit on different voltage rails as long as the per-point and group current hold.
