Single-channel RTD input for S7-1200 SIPLUS
The Siemens 6AG1231-5PA30-5XB0 is a SIPLUS analog input module for one resistance thermometer (platinum), with integrating measurement. Rated for 24 VDC supply at 0.5 W typical power loss and 5 mA current draw from the backplane. Operating ambient temperature spans -40 to 70 °C, with a vertical-installation derating to 50 °C — suitable for outdoor cabinets or unheated enclosures.
Integration notes
Single analog input channel for Pt resistance thermometers only: no voltage, current, or thermocouple capability. Alarms and diagnostic alarms are built in; wire-break detection is enabled. Designed for maintenance-oriented installations: diagnostics are readable via the S7-1200 backplane, and the module reports alarm on status of inputs.
