SIPLUS 4AI RTD – extended temperature I/O
The 6AG1231-5PD32-4XB0: Four resistance-thermometer inputs (Pt, Ni, Cu, LG-Ni) on an S7-1200 backplane, but in the SIPLUS variant that stretches the ambient range from -40°C to 70°C. Pulls 1.5 W from the 24 VDC bus. Diagnostic alarms and wire-break detection are built in – no extra parameterization needed for the fault reporting.
Supported RTD types and measurement
Covers the common industrial RTD curves: Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni120, Ni200, Ni500, Ni1000, Cu10, and LG-Ni1000. Measurement is integrating across three resistance spans (0–150 Ω, 0–300 Ω, 0–600 Ω) to match the sensor full scale. Each input is isolated per the module's IP20 enclosure.
