The Siemens 6AG1231-5PF32-4XB0 is an 8-channel analog input module for resistance thermometers, part of the SIPLUS S7-1200 family. It accepts Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni120, Ni200, Ni500, Ni1000, Cu10, Cu50, Cu100, and LG-Ni1000 RTD types — covering the common platinum, nickel, and copper curves used in process and HVAC loops. Each input uses an integrating measurement principle and supports wire-break detection, diagnostic alarms, and per-channel status readout. The module draws 1.5 W typical from the 24 V DC backplane supply.
