Analog output specs — two channels, voltage or current
Two analog outputs, each configurable for voltage (±10 V) or current (0–20 mA). Voltage resolution is 14 bits; current resolution is 13 bits. With voltage outputs the minimum load is 1000 Ω; with current outputs the maximum load is 600 Ω. Accuracy is ±0.3 % of output range for both voltage and current, with temperature drift adding ±0.3 % at 25 °C and ±0.6 % total at 55 °C.
Power draw and backplane loading
Draws 45 mA typical from the 24 VDC field supply and 80 mA from the 5 VDC backplane bus. Total typical power loss is 1.5 W. The module requires a front connector (ordered separately) and fits a 45 mm wide slot in the S7-1200 rack.
