Railway-rated 2A supply for S7-300 racks
The Siemens 6AG1305-1BA80-2AA0 is a SIPLUS S7-300 power supply that takes 24 V DC input and delivers a SELV 2 A output to the backplane bus.
Output current across the DC input range
The rated output current depends on the input voltage: 2.7 A at 24 V DC, 1.3 A at 48 V DC, 0.9 A at 72 V DC, 0.65 A at 96 V DC, and 0.6 A at 110 V DC. The supply accepts any DC voltage from 23.27 V up to the 110 V DC rated value, so it covers the full nominal range used in rolling stock and industrial battery-backed systems.
DIN rail footprint and thermal budget
Typical power loss is 16 W, and the supply is convection-cooled; the 70 °C max ambient rating means no derating in a sealed enclosure as long as the internal air stays below that ceiling. The 20 A inrush current lasts less than the 3 s power-up time, so the upstream breaker needs a C-curve or a slow-blow characteristic to avoid nuisance trips.
