The Siemens 6AG1308-2FL00-4AA3 is a compact managed Ethernet switch with a 10/100/1000 Mbit/s transfer rate. It supports CLI, SSH, SNMP v1/v2/v3, and a full stack of industrial protocols (DCP, LLDP, RSTP, LACP, VLAN dynamic)—enough to drop into a PROFINET or general industrial network without re-engineering the topology. The C-PLUG slot holds the configuration, so a swap-in replacement boots with the same behaviour; one in the cabinet means no re-commissioning when the running unit fails.
