Wide-temperature CPU for dusty, hot enclosures
The 6AG1315-2AH14-7AB0: That range covers unheated cabinets in cold climates and control rooms near kilns or ovens where standard 0–60 °C CPUs would drift or fault. It carries ATEX certification for explosive atmospheres, so it can be installed in Zone 2 or 22 areas where dust or gas ignition is a risk — common in cement plants, grain handling, and chemical processing.
Programming and engineering compatibility
This CPU supports LAD, FBD, STL, SCL, GRAPH, HiGraph, and CFC programming languages — the full S7-300 engineering suite — so existing STEP 7 V5.2 SP1 or higher projects can be reused without rewriting logic. It has 244 bytes each of process-image inputs and outputs, 8 FM slots, and 16 overall CP/PtP connections, which is sufficient for medium-scale discrete and process applications.
No adapter or backplane change needed. It has an RS 485 interface for PROFIBUS DP and supports PROFIBUS routing, so it integrates into existing DP networks without re-cabling.
The CE mark and ATEX certification are listed, which covers European regulatory acceptance for new installations.
