The Siemens 6AG1317-2FK14-2AY0 is a SIPLUS S7-300 CPU rated for extended ambient temperatures from -40 to 70 °C and certified to EN 50155. It carries ATEX approval and CE marking, making it suited for hazardous-area and rail-side installations where standard CPUs would not survive. The integrated PROFINET interface handles IRT, routing, and can serve as an IO-Controller or IO-Device.
Programming environment is STEP 7 V5.5 or higher with full support for LAD, FBD, SCL, STL, GRAPH, HiGraph, and CFC. Process image is 244 bytes each for inputs and outputs; forcing is available. Physical footprint is 40 mm wide, 125 mm high, 130 mm deep – fits all S7-300 racks.
