Derating and protection
Resistive load switching is rated at 10 Hz, inductive at 0.5 Hz. Short-circuit protection is external — spec calls for a 3.15 A quick-blow fuse per channel group. Power dissipation is 8.6 W typical; keep adjacent modules spaced per manual thermal recommendations to stay at the rated 4 A through 60 °C.
