The 6AG1322-8BF00-2AB0 is a Siemens SIPLUS S7-1500 digital output module with 8 channels at 24 V DC, built for environments where standard modules won't hold up. It carries the full temperature range of -25 °C to 70 °C (60 °C under UL/cUL), and is EN 50155:2007 certified for railway applications — sections 4, 5 and 12, T1/Category 1/Class A/B.
Current derating over temperature
Output current depends on ambient. Up to 40 °C each channel can carry 4 A. Between 40 °C and 60 °C drop to 3 A. At 70 °C the limit is 2.5 A without an external free-wheel diode or 1.5 A with a diode fitted. The module draws 5 W typical from the backplane. Short-circuit protection is electronic and diagnostic alarms are parameterizable — missing load voltage, wire-break, and group error reported via the SF (red) LED. Response times run 180 µs OFF→ON and 245 µs ON→OFF.
Sourcing and lifecycle
Lifecycle status is current — no phase-out horizon on this part. It sits in the standard SIPLUS catalog, quoted to order through normal Siemens distribution. For a production line that can't tolerate a last-time-buy scramble, this module gives you the runway to plan multi-year builds without a redesign trigger.
Approvals stack includes CE, UL (File E239877), EAC, KC, and RCM. The 20-pin front connector is required (not included).
