The 6AG1326-2BF01-2AB0: Each output handles 2 A continuous up to 60 °C with no series diode; add a series diode and you lose 1 A per channel (4 A max). That holds at both 40 °C and 60 °C — no derating walk between those temperatures. The module pulls 70 mA from the 24 V supply and 100 mA from the 5 V backplane bus. Switching frequency caps at 10 Hz on resistive or lamp loads, and 2 Hz on inductive loads — real-world valve or contactor duty is fine, but avoid PWM or fast solenoid banks. Shielded cable runs up to 1 000 m (200 m for SIL 3 / Cat.4), unshielded to 600 m. Plan your field wiring accordingly. Fail-safe operation is built in: group error SF red LED on the face, diagnostic alarm, and isolation tested at 500 V DC / 350 V AC between channels and backplane. The module requires a 40-pin front connector — that part must be ordered separately.
