PROFIBUS Gateway for Harsh Panels
The 6AG1342-5DA03-7XE0: Rated for -25 to +70 °C ambient during operation, it tolerates the chemical exposure of cooling lubricants and diesel droplets per EN 60721-3-3 Class 3S4 and Class 6S3. The supplied plug covers must stay on unused interfaces to maintain the ingress protection. Single-width S7-300 module: 40 mm wide, 125 mm high, 120 mm deep. It draws 0.15 A from the backplane 5 V bus and needs an external 24 V DC supply via the 4-pole terminal block, with tolerance -15 % / +20 %. Power dissipation is 6.75 W.
Integration Fit
Mounts on a standard S7-300 DIN rail in any slot. PROFIBUS interface is a 9-pin Sub-D socket (RS485) at the first interface. The module supports up to 4 connections per CPU when configured without DP, or up to 28 with DP, and can address up to 124 slaves on a DP master. Engineering software: requires STEP 7 V5.1 SP2 or higher, or STEP 7 Professional V12 (TIA Portal) or higher. No TCP/IP stack on board — this is a pure PROFIBUS link.
