Module overview
The Siemens 6AG1343-1EX30-7XE0 is a compact PROFINET IO controller/device module for S7-300, featuring a single RJ45 port at 10 to 100 Mbit/s with IRT support and integrated ring redundancy for MRP topologies. It carries DCP, NTP, and LLDP protocols out of the box — DCP auto-assigns IP addresses, NTP synchronizes clocks across the network, and LLDP feeds topology detection for PROFINET. The module draws 0.2 A typical at 5 V from the backplane bus, and requires an external 24 V DC supply via a 2-pole pluggable terminal block.
