What it is and what it does
Siemens 6AG1350-1AH03-2AE0 is an active SIPLUS counter module for the S7-1200 platform. It reads one RS422 incremental encoder at up to 200 kHz, 32-bit resolution, with gate-start, gate-stop, and direction control. Dual-supply: 5.2 V ±2 % for the encoder side and 24 V (1L+ -3 V) for the backplane interface. Three digital inputs handle limit switches or homing; two digital outputs (0.5 A each, electronically short-circuit protected) can latch a brake or indicator. The 20-pin front connector (1x required) carries all field wiring.
