Integration notes
Mounts on a standard S7-300 rail. Dimensions 40 x 125 x 120 mm. Backplane consumption is 100 mA at 5 V DC; the power supply for railway installations must comply with EN 50155. The connecting cable between racks is included with the module. No communications bus on the extension rack — this IM is for I/O racks without K-bus. Cooling is natural; power loss is typical 0.5 W. Ensure altitude derating per the temperature/pressure table when operating above 2 000 m.

This module carries the full set of international approvals: CE, UL, KC, EAC, RCM, and EN 50155. Documentation such as the declaration of conformity and UL certificate is available from Siemens. Genuine is genuine — same part, different passport.
