SIPLUS S7-400 rack for harsh environments
The 6AG1400-1JA11-7AA0: This is the ruggedised version of the standard 6ES7400-1JA11-0AA0 UR2 rack, factory-fitted with conformal coating and rated for continuous operation from -25°C to +70°C. It carries the P bus and communication bus on the backplane, supports up to nine single-width modules and two redundant power supplies in a central or distributed configuration. The -25…+70°C range is the operating window; the coated boards handle condensation and aggressive atmospheres better than the base variant.
Form factor and mounting details
Nine slots, all single-width: plan your I/O and CPU placement so that the P bus and communication bus lanes are not blocked by wide modules (e.g. some CPs and FMs occupy two slots). The two redundant power supply slots share the backplane; leave one free if you are not using redundancy. Above 2 000 m up to 3 500 m, subtract 10 K from Tmax; above 3 500 m up to 5 000 m, subtract 20 K.
