Analog Input Module – 16 Channels, Industrial Temperature Range
The Siemens 6AG1431-0HH00-4AB0 is a 16-channel analog input module. It accepts voltage inputs up to ±10 V and current inputs up to ±20 mA (including 4-20 mA), with a 24 V DC output to power up to 16 two-wire transmitters. The module draws 100 mA from the 5 V backplane bus and dissipates 2 W typical. Isolation is tested at 500 V DC between the bus and local ground; there is no potential separation between channels or between channels and the backplane bus. Rated for ambient operation from -40 to 70 °C, the module fits applications in unheated panels, cold storage, or outdoor enclosures.
Mounting and Wiring Notes
Width is 25 mm, height 290 mm, depth 210 mm – standard ET 200SP form factor, mounts on a DIN rail. The module supplies 24 V for 2-wire transmitters; note that no diagnostic function is present on the module. Input resistance varies by range: 50 Ω for current inputs (4-20 mA and ±20 mA), 100 kΩ for ±10 V and 1-5 V ranges, and 10 MΩ for the ±1 V range. Reverse polarity protection is built in. Shielded cable length is limited to 200 m maximum.
