40 A SITOP with Adjustable Output
The Siemens 6AG1437-3BA10-7AA0 is a 40 A rated switched-mode power supply from the SITOP series. It accepts a three-phase input of 400–500 V AC (47–63 Hz) and delivers an adjustable output from 24 to 28.8 V DC. Efficiency reaches 92% at full rated load, keeping enclosure heat rise in check.
DIN Rail Clearance and Derating
Snaps directly onto 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715. For natural convection cooling, maintain 50 mm clearance above and below the unit (top and bottom, respectively). No side clearance is required — left and right clearances are both 0 mm. Below +60 °C ambient, the full 40 A is available; above that, derating applies at 3.75% per Kelvin up to +70 °C. The compact enclosure measures 150 mm wide by 125 mm high by 150 mm deep. The IP20 protection rating suits clean, dry control cabinets; for marine or dusty environments, the panel itself must provide ingress protection.
EMC and Safety Compliance
The unit carries CE marking and meets EN 55022 Class B for conducted and radiated emissions — critical for installations subject to vessel or industrial EMC surveys. Immunity is per EN 61000-6-2, covering the industrial environment. Galvanic isolation provides safety extra-low voltage (SELV) output per EN 60950-1 and EN 50178, suitable for feeding downstream 24 V loads.
