The 6AG1443-5FX02-4XE0 is a SIPLUS NET CP 443-5 Basic communications processor for the SIMATIC S7-400 rack. It connects the S7-400 to PROFIBUS networks, supporting FMS, S5-compatible PG/OP, and S7 communication. This is the conformal-coated, extended-temperature variant (0 to +60 °C) of the standard 6GK7443-5FX02-0XE0, rated for harsher environments.
Integration and configuration
It occupies one single-width slot on the S7-400 rack, drawing 1 A typical at 5 V from the backplane bus, with a power loss of 5.5 W. The 9-pin Sub-D socket provides the RS485 PROFIBUS interface. Configuration requires STEP 7 V5.2 SP1 or higher and NCM S7 for PROFIBUS. Some features are dependent on the CPU type, so verify CPU compatibility against the note in the hardware catalog.
