Integrator brief
The Siemens 6AG1450-1AP00-4AE0 is a counter module for the S7-1200 PLC family, handling two 32-bit or ±31-bit counter inputs at up to 200 kHz on RS 422. It provides six digital inputs and six digital outputs, with a maximum output current of 300 mA. The module requires a 48-pin front connector (ordered separately). Supply rails come from the backplane: 5.2 V ±2% and 24 V (1L+ at -3 V). Typical power dissipation is 9 W.
Panel fit & wiring
Status monitoring via 14 green LEDs for channel status, plus red LEDs for internal and external fault. Diagnostic alarm and hardware interrupt are parameterizable.
